What the freak is this? We have no idea all the types of different species are out there, especially something like this marine ribbon worm that actually spits out some kind of disgusting phenomenon so it can capture its prey. I have never seen anything like this! Wow!!!

Actually the marine ribbon worms swallow their prey in whole by spitting out a mucus-like substance smothering their prey.Their are more than 1000 species of ribbon worms (phylum Nemertea), mostly found in the ocean. When attacking prey, they compress their bodies to push out the proboscis like the finger of a latex glove turned inside-out.
