Did any of you know Gandhi wrote a letter to Hitler in 1939? He begged the aggressive dictator for peace, before Hitler destroyed the world. India’s leader for independence and non-violence pleads with the leader of Nazi Germany. It was the time when tensions escalated in Europe following Germany’s takeover of Czechoslovakia, Gandhi wrote this letter to the brutal dictator. Here is what it said:
The sad part about it, the letter never reached Hitler because of intervention by the British government. There are never any “What If’s” in life as we all know, but “What If” Hitler did receive this letter? The most likely truth is Hitler probably would have disregarded the letter just the way he did so many lives. What if?
