Shortest NBA Slam Dunk Champ Spud Webb’ Shows These Trash Talkers He Still Can Dunk At Age 50

Spud Webb is notoriously known for being one of the shortest NBA players in history. That’s why his iconic Slam Dunk Contest victory over 25 years ago made him one of the league’s favorite NBA basketball players to watch. Standing only 5-foot-7 Webb could damn near jump out of the gym. It still looks like his vertical is over 40 inches.

In his younger days he was told he was too short to play basketball. When he was only 5-foot-3 he was amazingly able to dunk a basketball. Most scouts predicted he would not stick in the NBA and would end up playing in Europe or something. Webb ended up playing over 12 seasons in the NBA. Not too shabby for someone who was told he was too short to play basketball.
