Courtney Friel was simply trying to do her job, when this shirtless man asks her out on a date. In fact, as you can see she was in the midst of a wildfire taking place all around them and while she was totally aware of the situation, her shirtless new guy friend apparently didn’t care at all about his surroundings at that particular time.
Friel started out by asking the man if he lived nearby, and his answer was exactly this: “Yeah. Wow, you’re super pretty,” said the man, according to the International Business Times. “Do you wanna go on a date sometime?”
She was not amused not one bit as she said this: “We’re on the air live right now on KTLA, actually,” she blurted.
Friel asked what he thought of the fire and he responded, “It’s pretty cool.”
The video which had gone viral is a good example for what to do the next time a hot news reporter is being hit on during a live feed.
